My xmas at this hotel was a great experience. the staff were friendly and helpful, making me feel welcome from the moment I arrived. the room was spacious and clean, with a comfortable bed and beautiful views of the surrounding area. the location of the hotel was also fantastic, with plenty of shops, cafes, and attractions within walking distance. One of the best things about my stay was the delicious breakfast that was provided every morning. It was a great way to start the day and the perfect way to fuel up for exploring the town.
Although I had a fantastic overall experience, there were a few minor drawbacks. I would have liked to have tea and coffee making facilities in my room for convenience.

Good location with steep hills and a 5 minute walk to the center. Parking was available and the landlord offered to move his car if needed. Interesting owner who was attentive and provided tea and biscuits upon arrival. Enjoyable stay overall.

We recently stayed at 38 Newtown for a weekend getaway and had a fantastic experience. The location of the guest house was absolutely brilliant, with a fantastic view. The bedroom was clean, comfortable, and incredibly spacious. The bed itself was the comfiest I've ever slept on. Paul, our host, was an absolute delight. He was friendly, entertaining, and had us laughing throughout breakfast. His stories about his life as a Thespian were both interesting and entertaining. The continental breakfast provided was great, although it would have been nice to have a cereal option instead of yogurt. our stay at 38 Newtown was wonderful and we highly recommend it for a unique and enjoyable experience.
Can't recommend highly enough this hotel.

The continental breakfast was a nice touch, with a small bowl of yogurt, muesli, croissant, toast. It was a simple but sufficient start to the day. The owner was very helpful and friendly, providing advice on dinner options and nearby attractions. The location was great, with interesting streets and views close by, and within easy reach of Bradford-On-Avon and Bath.
It's something we expect as a minimum standard in a hotel. Additionally, the bathroom could have been cleaner, with water stains on the mirror and shower screen, as well as hairs in the bath.

The location was great, with interesting streets to explore nearby and Bradford-On-Avon center just a short walk away. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our stay.
The only thing that could have improved the breakfast was a larger variety of items.

The host, Paul, took great care of me, even carrying my cases up the spiral staircase. the bed was incredibly comfy and the bathroom on the landing was convenient. the location was perfect, just a short walk through the beautiful Cathedral grounds and across a foot bridge to the heart of town. it was one of the best stops on my trip.
I felt completely relaxed during my stay and there was nothing to complain about.

The value for money at 38 Newtown was excellent and the room was exceptionally comfortable with a high-quality mattress. The location was perfect, just a short stroll away from the town center and amenities. The host, Paul, was charming and provided helpful guidance on exploring the area.
The only breakfast option could be improved by offering a full English meal.

I had a wonderful stay at a charming B&B in a convenient location. the host, Paul, was warm and welcoming, making me feel right at home. the spacious bedroom had a comfortable bed and was impeccably clean. the continental breakfast provided was great, although it would have been nice to have a cereal option instead of yogurt. Paul's knowledge of the area was invaluable, and he gave excellent recommendations. I especially loved the Saxon Church we stumbled upon while walking to dinner.

The location of this hotel was fantastic, situated in a historic town with a picturesque river running through it. There were excellent dining options nearby and it was a great place to relax and enjoy the beautiful views. the warm welcome we received from the host, Paul, made us feel instantly comfortable and at home. the bed was incredibly comfortable, and we were delighted to find out that it was a high-quality 'Hypnos' mattress. the continental breakfast provided was modest but satisfying, and the yogurt was especially delicious.
One aspect that could be improved upon is the lack of a kettle in the room. It would have been nice to have a hot drink upon arrival and first thing in the morning.
